Here is a close up of one of the glass blowers. You might notice he has a wine glass full of beer. They let their employees drink beer (2%) non pasteurized - good nutrition our tour guide recommended it! The guide said they want their employees to be happy. This is the reason why they let them wear what they want. Nearly all of them wear Birkenstocks with socks, shorts and t-shirts.
